gasTURBINE Cycle Analysis (Academic Licence)

Academic licence for the gasTURBINE. This web app provides the ability to analyze gas turbine cycles based on cycle parameters for each component. Turbojets (single and 2-shaft), exhausted turbofans (2 and 3-shaft), mixed turbofans (2 and 3-shaft), and turboprop and turboshaft (single shaft and free power turbine) configurations are supported. Hand calculation values and exact enthalpy values are provided for comparison.

Purchase is subject to verification of academic status. If checking out with an email from an academic institution, this will often be sufficient. If using a non-academic email, please send proof of academic status to shop@paulaerospace.ca following order placement. This proof could be a copy of your student identification card showing expiry and status, transcript, or proof of registration document.

These are engineering tools, therefore proper data preparation steps are required to ensure the validity and accuracy of the results produced with these tools. Improper data preparation can also lead to situations where the generation of a result is not possible. The terms of use of the purchased application can be reviewed at apps.paulaerospace.ca/terms.

Academic licences include minimal email support for the applications. If additional support is required, a commercial licence is recommended. Alternatively, engineering services, including interpretation of results and engineering reports, may be available on an hourly basis through a separate business arrangement.
